Medical secretary/receptionist required to join existing team in friendly, welcoming GP Practices (D5, D15, D17)
English (Required) Part-time / Full-time. Immediate start. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Duties Include: •Dealing with patients via telephone and face-to-face at reception •Booking patients’ appointments •Communicating with GPs and nurse •Taking payments •Processing claim forms •Maintaining patient files
Requirements: •Experience as Medical Secretary highly desirable •Essential typing skills •Competent computer user, ideally with experience in GP practice software. •Excellent telephone manner with ability to communicate in a compassionate and calm manner •Personable and courteous in all interactions with patients and medical staff •Ability to take direction and work on own initiative in a pressured work environment •Strong organisational skills and ability to manage and prioritise a demanding diary •High level of professionalism and ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality to all aspects of the practice •Flexibility with respect to working hours •Ability to provide cross-cover for annual leave
