Alfa Medics team is delighted to share the success of our recent meeting with our digital ambassadors. We gathered last weekend with Dr Angela Parvu Bratulescu – our Principal GP, George Bratulescu – CEO of Alfa Medics and the first 11 ambassadors who joined our campaign to discuss the goal and impact of our latest health initiative “I am HEALTHY and this is my CHOICE”.
During the meeting, George Bratulescu emphasized the campaign’s primary objectives:
- Focus on prevention rather than treatment by encouraging people to visit their doctor at least once a year.
- Highlight the importance of registering with a GP in Ireland.
Dr Angela Parvu presented alarming statistics on how many diseases are impacted by an unhealthy lifestyle.
“Vascular diseases, cancer and obesity are conditions that can often be prevented by maintaining a healthy lifestyle”, she explained.
The ambassadors, representing various experiences and professional backgrounds, shared their perspectives on the campaign.
Claudiu Alex Florea, an entrepreneur and sports enthusiast, remarked on the difference between knowing and truly understanding the importance of health. “You appreciate the true value of health only when certain triggers make you realize what you can’t do when you’re sick.”
Anca Lupu, a counsellor and psychotherapist in Dublin, emphasized the importance of mental health. “Often, our whole body hurts even if it is physically healthy, simply because we are not mentally well”, she noted.
Irina Galbura, an advocate for self-love and body care, proposed integrating her campaign within her project Fit Mami. “I encourage mothers to live for their children, not just to survive”, she stated.
